This is it – Matsuri Drift Warz, the  first-ever full weekend of pure drifting at Sydney Motorsport Park!

Here’s the plan to help us do it in style, keep SMSP happy, and make sure they want us back for more.

If you want to drift your car at Matsuri Drift Warz then you need to be an Entrant!  The Driver Entry fee covers 1 x Driver and/or 1 car to participate all weekend, all 22 hours of drifting! + the driver entry also covers 1 x Entrant Crew Pass and includes camping for both Driver & Entrant Crew Passholder.

If you wish to have multiple drivers for the one car each driver will need to submit an entry form and pay the entry fee. Once you are entered, your entry is not transferable.

Entries are capped with 280 people already guaranteed a spot so don’t be late.

Camping will be at the top of the hill on the hardstand around Turn 18 looking down the front straight.

There are also ample ladies and mens toilets spread around the venue.  Camping is available for both entrants and spectators and can be paid at the gate on your arrival or prepaid on entry forms if required. The Camping fee is additional to any advertised entrants fees.

Powercruise does not book camp sites, we don’t hold sites for anyone. Camping is a first in best dressed deal. No Camping Sunday Night

Mark your calendars, here’s the rundown:

• Friday Night: 7 PM – 10 PM.  $10 grandstand display. It’s all about putting on a show on the front straight. Invite only once you enter we will evaluate and if your in the Friday night show you will hear from us.
• Saturday: 10 AM – 10 PM. One big day to maximize track time.
• Sunday: 9 AM – 4 PM. As long as there’s smoke and tires left, we’re rolling.

AASA has backed us with a set of rules you’ve never used before.

• You’ll be permitted to use a caged or uncaged car.
• You’ll be permitted to take 1 passenger and tandem no matter if you have a cage or not.
• These are how AASA permits Qld Raceway and they have agreed to allow us to do the same at SMSP.

Most of you will have a AASA License so make sure it’s current. No other license will be permitted.

Respect the Track folks. Don’t drop a tyre off into the dirt. There is no competition so no need to be pushing the limits. Garage and carport owners will required to have Drip Trays under your car. Supercheap has them for $25.

This event could pave the way for many more, but we need to leave the track better than we found it. We’re looking for 40-50 volunteers to help refill track edges Friday pm and Sunday pm with dirt before and after the event. SMSP staff will bring the truck and bobcat and supplies; we’ll bring the muscle. Let’s get this handled right and make an unforgettable impression.

• Volunteers, Traders, Sponsors & Invited Guests via Gate A
• Car parking is FREE Kids 12 & Under are FREE Wheelchair Access via Gate A

The setup will let you drift the way you want:

• Figure 8 Battles
• Hardstand & Skid Pan Setups
• Custom Track Sections with 3 layouts – Saturday being 2-3 then 5-6-7-8-9-10 then start at 15 into 16-17-18 onto the front straight.
